Who Is Dr. Karen Hardy?

Dr. Karen Hardy has 15 years of financial experience which expands across various industries, including consumer banking, business finance, and procurement. Her former positions included working as a Banking Officer with Citibank and as a Purchasing Official in the public sector.

Dr. Karen received raving reviews for her book "Destiny, Dreams & Decisions: Empowering Women for Success- which focuses on the power of personal assessment." Her workshops, which were based on the book, were covered by the local media.  As a result of this positive feedback, Dr. Hardy developed a proprietary 3D-System™ to help individuals turn their dreams into reality.

In 2007 she published the book "Building Self-Leaders," which takes a look at the management succession process in the federal government and provides a model training program for addressing leadership issues.

In addition to her work as a platform  speaker and workshop facilitator, Dr. Hardy is a scholar-practitioner and conducts research in the area of leadership, entrepreneurship, and business.  She collaborated with researchers at Virginia Tech University and contributed to the new book "Mastering Self-Leadership: Empowering Yourself for Personal Excellence." by Dr. Chris Neck and Dr. Charles Manz.

Her research has been cited in the Journal of Managerial Psychology and The Public Manager.
