About Karen Hardy

Dr. Hardy is professional committed to performance management and organizational leadership. She is a recognized strategist and pioneer in her field with an innovative eye for creating new opportunities and for charting new paths.

She is the recipient of the “Most Promising New Textbook Award” in the College category for her book "Enterprise Risk Management: A Guide for Government Professionals” – the first ever textbook on the subject for the Government sector. The book is published by John Wiley & Sons. Her book is cited for adoption in College/University Accounting, Business, Economics, Public Policy and Public Administration courses.

Dr. Hardy earned her Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Development from Nova Southeastern University; is a graduate of Strayer University, earning her Masters in Business Administration and a graduate of Hampton University where she studied Media Arts and Journalism, and earned her Bachelor’s degree.

She has three decades of public service engagement experience and financial services experience in industry.
